Graduation Information Including Getting Tickets for Family

This is my NA Diploma. You get it on the last day when you turn in your credentials after graduation and leave the NA. I recommend waiting on buying a frame. They have some nice ones in the NA store which is right outside the classrooms but they are costly. I picked up this frame for much less back home. It is your call.

The NA also mails you a professional DVD of the entire graduation and a photo getting your diploma from the Director so don't worry about taking video or having a family member do it for you. You even get a yearbook later.

Graduation Tickets: Students only get 2 tickets. As early as possible (week 1) ask around and see who will not be using their graduation tickets. This is a good time to barter. International students and those who are from far away are the best to ask because it is often too expensive for them to have guests come. Do not delay on this.  Some extra tickets are available via lottery just prior to graduation but if you are waiting it out it can be stressful. There is an overflow area with a TV monitor showing graduation if all guests do not get into graduation. We had no problems with others getting the extra tickets they needed. The graduation was full but everyone got in. It takes place in the Auditorium.

The Thursday before graduation there is a family lunch in the Atrium. This is a good chance to show your family the Academy. If they can't make the lunch there is a family continental breakfast the morning of graduation. Some students waited to then to show their family around but the time is short. Do it the day before if you can.

After you graduate prepare a press release. You will get some mentions in your local newspaper and from elected officials. The NA gives you a generic release to use so don't worry. It will be in your graduation package.
